Achieving our Goals

May 26, 2021

Here is a bedtime reflection from an anonymous writer. It explores the limbo in between feeling lost because we are not setting a structure to our duties or setting it and feeling incapable of achieving our goals.

When I set myself no goals I feel empty, almost bored. When I do set them, I feel rushed, overwhelmed, incapable. I end up avoiding the list of tasks I set up to complete, is it pure laziness or a little fear of failure too? Then the question arises: what am I ought to do, stuck in the middle? It's simple, you're stuck on a puzzle whose rule book sits right in front of you, yet your mind can't figure out how to handle it. It is frustrating, To end each repeating day, Exhausted by something that isn't worth exhaustion.
