We're Ludovica and Margherita
We push ourselves to better understand what is going on inside and around us. Integrating factual knowledge together with our behaviour and thoughts can be a powerful tool for self-growth.
We discuss and write about information we come across in our studies and that interests us, as we train to become licensed therapists. We hope to build a community of people who want to gain awareness about their feelings, experiences and of the world around them.

Share your Think on Ink
Writing down our thoughts, ideas, desires and fears can be a great way of communicating with ourselves and people around us, when speaking seems harder. Think on Ink gives you a safe space to share anonymously what you write. By reading each other’s words, people realise that they are not alone and that we are all so much more than what we appear to be.

Like the kid in the film Love Actually said “what’s worst than the total agony of being in love?”, love is the topic that everyone talks about but no one understands... and sex is neither mentioned nor understood. We don’t expect to have all the answers to our infinite questions but we can try to bring some clarity by increasing our psychological understanding of intimacy, sexuality and relationships.

How many times have you heard people saying “he’s depressed” or “she’s OCD”? Do we really know what these words mean? Are we using them appropriately? Some of these labels are overused in daily language, but the narrative around them is mostly flawed, creating many misconceptions. Other disorders remain unknown or unspoken, leaving people who suffer from them feeling extremely alone. This section aims at raising awareness on the “never mentioned” psycho-pathologies and improving the narrative around those which are known.

The journey towards self awareness is a life-long journey which can bring pain in the immediate, but will always repay in the long-term. Still, understanding who we are, where we want to go, what motivates us and affects us is not an easy task. We hope you can find a little bit of yourself in the articles we write and that they can stimulate self-reflection.

The field of Psychology often adopts a westernised and individualistic view of the world. Here we try to view the mind and society through a wider lens in order to gain a better understanding of different cultures and minority groups.
